Meet Jello aka Cat Marshall

Every great team has a leader, and at Little Tokyo Pet Clinic, ours happens to have four paws and an exceptionally fluffy tail. Meet Jello, our beloved clinic cat and unofficial manager.
Jello takes his role seriously. From supervising our dedicated staff to ensuring every furry patient feels welcome, he approaches each day with quiet confidence and calm charm. You may also find him carefully inspecting sunlit spots throughout the clinic to ensure optimal conditions for rest and relaxation.
Jello is often seen greeting clients with a gentle head-butt or a soft purr, reminding everyone that comfort and compassion are essential parts of quality care. He firmly believes that a calm environment helps pets feel safe, relaxed, and at ease during their visit.
When he’s not overseeing daily operations, Jello enjoys laser pointer pursuits, ear scratches, and subtly reminding the team that he is, without question, an important part of the clinic family. He truly is the heart of Little Tokyo Pet Clinic, and we’re lucky to have him.
Be sure to say hello to our friendly feline manager during your next visit — Jello is always ready to offer a warm welcome and a touch of feline wisdom. 🐾

Chapter 1: The Rescue

Jello wasn’t always the polished “office manager” he is today. He came to Little Tokyo Pet Clinic as a stray—wary, hungry, and carrying the quiet resilience of a cat who had lived too long on his own. Dr. Chung, with her usual compassion, took him in. What was supposed to be a temporary foster turned into something more: Jello had found his home.

Chapter 2: Earning His Title

Most cats spend their days lounging on windowsills or chasing shadows. Not Jello. From the beginning, he showed a knack for supervision. He would perch on the reception desk, watching clients check in. He padded into exam rooms, sometimes curling up next to nervous pets as if to say, “You’ll be fine. I’ve been here before.” Soon, the staff began calling him the “Cat Manager,” and the name stuck. Clients loved it, too—“Jello the Manager” became as much a part of the clinic’s identity as the stethoscopes and X-ray machines.

Chapter 3: A Manager with a Mission

Jello’s story didn’t stop at mascot status. He took on a bigger role—a feline blood donor. In emergency situations, when another cat’s life hung in the balance, Jello donated blood. His quiet heroism has saved lives. At the same time, he started his own “health program”: Jello was once a bit on the round side, so now he proudly models the clinic’s weight-management plan, showing clients that even the best managers sometimes need to watch their diet.

Chapter 4: The Face of the Clinic

Today, Jello is more than a cat—he’s a storyteller, a comforter, and a gentle reminder that healing comes in many forms. He greets clients at the door, keeps the staff on their toes, and, in his own way, oversees the smooth running of the clinic. Some say he even checks the pharmacy shelves (though mostly for snacks).
